1212 Productions is headed by Philip Armstrong-Dampier.

1212 Productions’ first film was The Real King’s Speech. (Channel 4). It was seen and sold to more than 120 territories.

Since then we’ve worked with AETN International, Five, BBC Music, BBC’s Panorama, BBC’s Newsnight and More 4.

1212’s most recent production is ‘Getting a Fair Trial?’ for BBC Panorama. Earlier this year, our highly regarded ‘Stanley & His Daughters’, a 75-minute film for BBC’s Arena was shown and, before that the critically acclaimed 3-part BBC series, ‘Nile Rodgers: How To Make It In The Music Business’.

Other 1212 films include a 90-minute film on the celebrated conductor Herbert von Karajan, ‘Karajan, The Myth and the Magic’ the life of the virtuoso violinist Yehudi Menuhin in ‘Who’s Yehudi?’ and films on the Cambridge Five Spy Guy Burgess, the Moors Murderer Ian Brady, South Korea and Diana, Princess of Wales.

Before co-founding 1212 Productions Philip was Head of Factual, Factual Entertainment and Corporate at ITN for 12 years where he executive produced hundreds of hours of programming for UK and international broadcasters.
